Review: Hydrolagen

As you get older, your body produces less collagen. That can have negative effects on your skin, on your joints and bone density and can cause inflammation. All in all, it's not a good time. I have been searching for a collagen supplement that will help me retain a somewhat youthful appearance and hopefully help my achy knees.

   I decided to give Hydrolagen a try. I had never done it before. What could go wrong?
   Well, something did go wrong right away. I mixed it with my morning coffee. It said it had a vanilla flavor and you could mix it in with water, milk or your favorite beverage. I thought that it would be perfect to spruce up my boring morning black coffee. I was wrong. The taste was extremely unpleasant - enough that it upset my stomach for the rest of the morning. I was ready to not try it ever again.
   But, my husband suggested that the upset tummy was caused by the caffeine. So, I wanted to give it another try. I made a smoothie of milk, ice, blueberries and the supplement. This was much better and did not give me an sour stomach. Since I have begun drinking it in smoothies, I have noticed the bags under my eyes have diminished by roughly 25 percent. That is an AWESOME result!! I would recommend this.
