Review: Ari-Ale-Tools 6-inch Trauma Wound Dressing

As preppers, we firmly believe in having a decent supply of medical equipment. And the stash must have items that stretch beyond the standard household fare.
I recently received two packages of 6-inch Trauma Wound Dressing and was pleased to see it had "Israeli battle dressing" written on it. Of course, we're not in battle or going to battle anytime soon, but it's nice to know that I have a bandage that will cover such an experience.

The package it arrived in is firmly sealed, giving me confidence in knowing that it has not been contaminated by bacteria. But, it is also very easy to open. Inside, you will see your dressing, which you place directly onto the wound. You then tighten it with the elastic bandage and pressure applicator and secure the whole thing in place with a closure clip. It is not overly complicated and pretty much standard first aid.

I like that these dressings are for larger wounds. No matter how many Band-Aids you might have, there are none that will cover large wounds. And that was something that I thought of frequently whenever I surveyed our first aid supply. I needed more materials for larger wounds. My need has been fulfilled!
I like these dressings and if you are expanding your first aid kit, or stocking up on medical supplies, I recommend this.
Full disclosure: I was sent this product free of charge in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
