Review: 1byone 9000mAh 12V Multi-Function Smart Portable Car Jump Starter

My husband and I love to get gadgets and tools for our vehicles. After all, he is a mechanic and he has convinced me of the importance of maintaining a well-running vehicle. One problem that I know I have come across numerous times in the past - dead battery.
   Fortunately, there was always someone close by who had

jumper cables (if I did not have my own). And if it happened at home, we have a battery charger - you know, one of those big ones on wheels that you plug into the wall. But, what would we do if we were not at home and there were no other cars around? Trust me. It can happen. We travel to South Dakota frequently. You can travel quite a distance without seeing one single car on the road.
   Well, I got this 1byone Portable Car Jump Starter and my husband was excited to try it out. Because not only does it jump start your car and comes with cables, but it also charges other devices like your smart phone or your tablet. We recently took a three-hour trip and plugged the jump starter into the cigarette lighter. We would not be able to test it without making sure it was charged completely.
   Unfortunately, we have not had a dead battery yet, but the device did wonderful with charging my daughter's Kindle and my smart phone. And since it is small and portable, we left it in the back seat. Whenever we travel, we are going to make sure we plug it in - just in case. It's a wise investment, especially if you do a lot of traveling.
